The innovative tile design of the Performance Series eliminates most of the reliability problems that arise with traditional faceplates. Unreliable tapes and soldered joints have been removed to expand the core of the elements. Energy flows provide flexible and redundant connections, and lower peak cell temperatures increase the life of the modules.

The SunPower® Performance Series (P-Series) solar panels provide SunPower’s proven quality and durability of the front contact elements, resulting in better efficiency, power, output and reliability than conventional panels.
P-series modules also benefit from a unique design with a parallel circuit, which provides more energy when shading one row to another, resulting in more coverage by ground or roof modules.
